Description
Each rental includes 50 servings of popcorn (kernels, oil, and bags).
Need more? Additional servings are available for $25 per 50-serving pack.
This machine features a large kettle that you can use to pop large quantities of corn at a time. Each rental comes with enough supplies for about sixty people, but of course if you want to serve more than that, or be able to offer seconds (and thirds) to people, just let us know and we’d be happy to sell you more.
We do ask that you keep in mind that the popping chamber is hot, so please use caution and supervise any children who use it closely.
How to Use a Popcorn Machine Properly: Step-by-Step Guide
Looking to make the perfect batch of popcorn? Follow this easy guide on how to use a popcorn machine properly—ideal for home use, parties, or events. Whether you’re using a classic home popcorn maker or a professional-style machine, these tips will help you pop like a pro.
Step 1: Safety First – Unplug Before Setup
Before doing anything, make sure your popcorn machine is unplugged to prevent accidents.
Step 2: Attach the Kettle
Secure the kettle to the main unit by hooking it onto the hanger. Make sure it’s properly aligned.
Step 3: Plug In the Machine
Insert the power cord into a safe outlet. Your popcorn machine is now ready for use.
Step 4: Turn On the Light & Heater
Switch on both the interior light and heater (see Fig. 1). Add oil or butter to the kettle. Max oil: 15g – adjust to taste.
Tip: Coconut oil or canola oil works great in popcorn machines.
Step 5: Preheat the Kettle
Allow the kettle to preheat for 3 to 4 minutes, or until steam begins to rise. This step ensures even popping.
Step 6: Prepare Your Kernels (and Sugar Optional)
While preheating, measure your popcorn kernels using the provided measuring scoop.
🚫 Note: Do not use liquid sugar or honey—they can damage the kettle.
Step 7: Turn On the Stirrer
Switch on the stirrer to ensure even mixing (see Fig. 3).
Step 8: Close the Door
Close the front door of the popcorn machine to contain heat and prevent spills.
Step 9: Let It Pop!
Within 2 minutes, you’ll see popcorn start popping out of the kettle lid (see Fig. 4). Get ready!
Step 10: Turn Off When Popping Stops
Once popping slows down or stops completely:
-
Turn off the heater and stirrer.
-
Use the roller bar to rotate the kettle and pour out any remaining popcorn.
Step 11: Keep Warm (Optional)
If you’re not done serving:
-
Keep the spotlight and warming tray ON to keep popcorn fresh.
-
Leave the heater switch OFF.
Step 12: Serve Your Popcorn
Use the included scoop to serve your freshly popped popcorn. Enjoy!
Final Step: Unplug the Machine
When finished, always unplug the popcorn machine for safety and to preserve its lifespan.
